It's not necessary to pull off the Rubber Seal that comes preinstalled on AIR DESIGN’S SUPER BOLT® FENDER FLARES in order to paint them. However if you feel more comfortable doing so, you can always get a REPLACEMENT RUBBER SEAL.
This Rubber Seal has been carefully designed and integrated into our Super Bolt® Fender Flares to guarantee a firm mechanical attachment of the flare to the sheet metal, making them the Most Solid Vibration-Free Fender Flares in the market. By doing so, you can rest assured these flares will never eat away at your Truck’s Paint.
Super Bolt® Fender Flares Rubber Seal also avoids leaks and pollutants getting inside the flare, preventing rust and paint wear.
